Absence notes due: 01/12/2017
Congratulations to Tara O'Connor who auditioned and was selected to participate in the PMEA Regional Choral Festival at Strath Haven High School in February. Tara was ranked as the #1 soprano two in District 11. Next month, she will also have the opportunity to audition for the All-State Chorus.
On February 1st, the Warminster Township Library will be hosting the Teen Reading Lounge program for teens in grades 6-12. This is an interactive book discussion group made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania Humanities Council. It is our hope that you will inform the student population about this wonderful program.
Attention All William Tennent Faculty and Staff: Shoprite will be fulfilling orders for delivery and pick up for food. Yesterday a form went out-please remember your school Shoprite as the snowflakes begin to fall and get your necessary items right here at the school!
Shoprite is also open on Tuesday and Thursdays before school for purchases for students and faculty.
The School Store is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays before school. We are selling yoga pants and if you purchase them you will get a free William Tennent t-shirt while supplies last.
Looking for a job? Representatives from Ann's Choice will be visiting on Thursday, January 19th during all lunches, in the cafeteria. Stop by and see what is available.
Any student who is in student government or a senior sweetheart skit can pick up their pre-purchased ticket any time before or after school in room C113. You must turn in the permission form on the Tennent website to receive your ticket. See Mr. Goldsman with any questions.
Students: Please check with Mrs. Mueller in the 9th Grade House to see if you are on the Debt List. You cannot purchase a Winter Ball ticket if you are on the list.
The William Tennent Ski and Snowboard Club will be going to Bear Creek Mountain on Friday, February 3rd and Friday February 10th. Signup sheets can be picked up in room C215 from Ms. Konell or from Mr. Tomlinson in the College and Career Center. Forms are due for the first trip by Friday, January 20th. All students are welcome to sign up even if you missed the organization meeting.
Attention 9th Graders! On Tuesday January 31st, William Tennent is offering 9th grade students the opportunity to visit the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology. If you are interested in applying to MBIT for next year, this will be a good opportunity to experience the program first hand. Please sign up in the College and Career Center. The trip will be offered on a first come basis to students who return their parent permission forms. All permission slips must be returned by January 25th. If you have more questions, please see your counselor.
