The Student Assistance Program represents a systematic process by which school personnel can identify students who are experiencing educational barriers that may be hindering academic success and refer them for help. The SAP Team consists of specially trained teachers, as well as guidance counselors, the school nurse, administration and staff from appropriate agencies in the community.
