Hello, 8th Grade Parents and Guardians.
It’s hard to believe that your students’ middle school days have almost come to an end. WTHS would like to congratulate all of our 8th grade students as they approach the completion of middle school! We hope you enjoy the end of the year festivities and celebrations of your student’s accomplishments! We are now referring to these students as our rising 9th graders! We are looking forward to having your child with us at William Tennent High School this fall, and we want your child's transition to be as smooth as possible.
In order to ease the transition to high school, we are pleased to offer a parent/guardian orientation presentation on Thursday, May 23, 2024. If you would like a tour before our presentation, please arrive at WTHS at 5:30pm. WTHS students will be available to lead tours of the building. Our presentation will begin at 6:30 pm in the William Tennent auditorium. Rising 9th grade students are welcome to accompany parents/guardians to this presentation.
We look forward to welcoming our freshmen, the Class of 2028, to William Tennent High School for their 8th grade field day on May 28, 2024. Lunch will be provided in the WTHS cafeteria.
Over the summer, keep your eyes out for eAlerts with important information. Additionally, families who are interested may choose to attend one of our new student tours in August. More information regarding these tours will be sent later in the summer.
Please also know that high school schedules will be released on August 15, 2024.
