Superintendent Search

February 19, 2025 – Doylestown, PA: The Centennial School District, located in Bucks County Pennsylvania, has officially begun their search for the next Superintendent of Schools. To facilitate the search process, the Board of School Directors for the district has retained the services of the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU). An experienced facilitator of Superintendent search services, the Bucks IU does not charge a fee for this service for school districts located in Bucks County, although the  Bucks IU will be reimbursed by the district for any out-of-pocket advertising or other costs associated with the position posting.

As a part of the search process, the district’s Board of School Directors is interested in hearing from the Centennial community about the strengths, characteristics, skills and priorities for the next Superintendent. The Board is seeking input from students, staff and taxpayers and other community members using a survey found at: https://bit.ly/CSDCommunitySurvey2025

The survey data will be used by the Board to help create interview questions and to aid in distinguishing candidates that meet the identified qualifications.

The survey will be available until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The Bucks IU will work with the Board of School Directors to advertise the position, develop interview questions and protocols, as well as organize and coordinate the logistics of scheduling and facilitating the various rounds of the interview process. The members of the Centennial Board of School Directors will be solely responsible for the selection of candidates to advance through the interview process and for whomever is selected as the next Superintendent.

A community forum, to introduce the new Superintendent, will be arranged and announced once the final selection is completed.

Updates on the search process and a summary analysis of survey results will be shared with the Community as results are available.
